Why are we building a software for screenwriters ?
Because I choose to
Every day we watch as algorithms and marketing departments strangle the life out of storytelling. They feed us the same reheated garbage, all focus-grouped within an inch of its life. Three-act structures so rigid you could build a prison with them. Character arcs as predictable as a fast food menu.
We made watzen.ai because we're fucking sick of it.
We're sick of watching good writers get their edges sanded off by executives who think "character development" means adding a quirky best friend. Sick of seeing passionate creators told their stories are "too complex for the target demographic." Sick of watching truth get sacrificed on the altar of four-quadrant marketability.
This isn't another "storytelling solution." We're not here to optimize your hero's journey or maximize your audience engagement metrics. We built this tool for the writers who wake up at 3 AM haunted by stories that don't fit in neat little boxes. For the ones who'd rather tell an honest story that reaches ten people than a hollow one that reaches ten million.
Our AI is like that friend who calls you on your bullshit - not the one who nods along to keep the peace. It helps you dig deeper, push harder, and burn through the layers of conditioning that tell you to play it safe.
If you're looking for software to help you clone whatever's trending on streaming platforms, keep walking. But if you're ready to put something real into the world - something that might actually change how someone sees their life - pull up a chair. We've got work to do.
We will write here on Substack and elsewhere to keep you updated. Want to help ? Reach us anywhere, I promise that someone will reply.
Have a good one
